yfcone BIG DAY sat 15th March - come & join us to find out more

Come and join all the yfcone team at the yfcone BIG DAY on Saturday 15^th March at Youth for Christ head office in Halesowen, West Midlands .

The day is set to be a fantastic day of fun, entertainment, spiritual input and provides a great opportunity to explore what yfcone is all about.

Do you have a heart to make a difference in the world we live in? Do you have a heart for young people? Do you want to take a year out and serve God in a new way? Are you up for stepping out of your comfort zone? Not sure what to do with your life, but you know God is calling you to do something different for him in the UK or overseas? Are you up for seeing God stretch and change you? Do you love meeting new people and being part of a team? Do you have 3, 6 or 11 months to spare?…………….

If you answered yes to any of the above, I would encourage you to come along a join us for part or all of the day to see what yfcone is all about and see if there might be a place for YOU!

Who is the day for?

Anybody who is between the ages of 15- 25 years of age and interested in taking a year out, doing a long or short term mission in the UK or overseas, either this coming year or in the next few years. Family and friends of people interested in applying are also very welcome to join us for the day. Youth groups and churches who have people who might be interested in finding out more are also very welcome.

What will the day look like?

The day will run from 10.30am – 4.30pm (with additional time for interviews)

The day will be made up of various exciting workshops with inspirational bands, DJ’s, drama companies and sports coaches. Tournaments, performances, spiritual input from a number of acclaimed speakers, opportunities to chat with members of the staff team and other volunteers who are on yfcone this year about the exciting opportunities we have available. We will also be holding interviews towards the end of the day for people who are particularly interested and have submitted an application for a team within yfcone. Interviews provide a fantastic opportunity for us to get to know you, and for you to ask and questions you may have about the teams, etc, and explore things at a deeper level. If you are particularly interested and feel you would like to join us for an interview on the day please contact Beckie Allport (on contact details below) for an application form.
