The Academy is an opportunity to take your skills to the next level. You will receive personally-tailored training from some of the country‘s leading youthworkers and evangelists. Your programme will be specific to your calling and you may have the chance to be coached through leading your own mission team. If you’re in your second year with yfc one or you have sufficient previous experience or training then The Academy is for you.Whether your skills lie in leadership, evangelism or schools work, or another specialism, we can tailor a package to suit you.

The Academy is ideal for you if you’ve already done a year out, either with yfc one, or elsewhere and feel that you have more to give; maybe you’re considering a longer term involvement in Christian work and think that this would be a great stepping stone; perhaps you’ve done general youth work and want a year that is designed specifically for you with your individual gifts and skills in mind.
