As part of the Crux Media team, you will be developing skills in film and media whilst delivering creative, innovative and cutting edge mission in schools.

In addition to general yfc one training, you will receive intensive training in the 4 key areas of film making and media.  This will include Camera work, Lighting, Video editing and Sound.  Training will be delivered by the Crux Media team leader and experts in the business who have partnered with Youth for Christ. Ideally, those applying for this team would have some creative and/or technical experience with film-making, whether in editing, production, graphics or sound.  However, comprehensive training will be given on how to use industry standard tools, so the most important thing is that you are passionate about trying your hand at creative mission with young people.

The team will spend some time on the road delivering mission using video techniques in schools and Young Offenders Institutions, engaging young people by making films and sharing faith. The team have a base where you can work from and call home, and here you will be involved in some local youth-work in addition to the film work.  On occasions you will be used for high profile YFC events and festivals.  The Crux Media team usually consists of 3-4 people.
